We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our team on a full-time, remote basis. At Thirdfort, we are on a mission to protect society from fraud and money laundering. We have already helped secure over 3 million people through significant life transactions. Our platform provides a secure way for regulated professionals, such as lawyers, estate agents, and accountants, to verify sensitive information and transfer funds using facial recognition, document checks, and open banking. With over 1,500 businesses trusting our services and $33m in funding from leading fintech investors, we are looking for a collaborative engineer who is excited about building reliable, scalable systems in a high-trust domain.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and deploy well-tested features across our platform while taking full ownership of user stories from initial refinement through to production.
- Collaborate closely with our product and design teams to translate complex requirements into pragmatic, high-quality technical solutions.
- Integrate AI-assisted development tools into your daily workflow to increase efficiency and share those insights to help improve our collective engineering culture.
Requirements
We are seeking a candidate with a strong background in shipping production software within a team environment. You should be comfortable working with modern backend and frontend technologies, such as Go, TypeScript, React, and React Native. We value engineers who understand core fundamentals like data modeling, API design, and version control. Because we operate in a fast-moving environment, you should be a clear communicator who is eager to solve problems end-to-end. We are particularly interested in candidates who are passionate about AI-powered development and either currently use tools like Copilot or Cursor or are highly motivated to adopt them.
