Senior Software Engineer at Cordial Systems

At Cordial Systems we build enterprise-grade custody infrastructure that lets organizations regain control of their digital assets without sacrificing safety or usability. Founded by Jump Trading alumni and backed by seed investors, we solve hard distributed-systems problems with novel multi-party computation techniques. Our Treasury product is already trusted internally at Jump Trading, and we are now bringing that same reliability to the wider market so enterprises can participate in Web3 with confidence.

The role

We are hiring a Senior Software Engineer to join our fully remote team on a full-time basis. You will report directly to the CTO and help shape both the product and the engineering culture as one of our earliest employees. The position is open to candidates located in US or EU time zones.

Core responsibilities

• Design and implement robust microservices that connect to heterogeneous blockchains, including new drivers and integrations with the Cosmos SDK and Tendermint/CometBFT.
• Build reliable tooling that interacts with Docker APIs and create customer-facing command-line interfaces for managing sensitive signing operations.
• Drive code quality and best practices through thoughtful design reviews, architecture decisions, and continuous improvements that increase the reliability, safety, and usability of our custody platform.

Skills and experience

You bring a proven record of shipping complex software projects that required substantial original code. You are an expert in Golang or Rust, possess strong instincts for software architecture, and have experience with distributed systems. Clear communication and a collaborative mindset are essential, as you will work within a flat, results-oriented organization. While familiarity with blockchain or cryptocurrency is helpful, it is not required.

Compensation and benefits
