What you bring

We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join our team on a full-time, hybrid basis. You will play a critical role in our engineering department, utilizing your expertise in Java, Spring, SQL, and cloud technologies like GCP and AWS to build robust payment solutions. This position is open to candidates anywhere, though we prioritize in-person connection for those near our San Francisco headquarters.

• Resolve core service performance issues at scale to ensure our platform remains reliable.
• Develop secure and compliant products that directly address the evolving needs of our customers.
• Write high-quality, thoroughly tested code while documenting your work to support our rapid growth.

Requirements

The ideal candidate possesses at least eight years of experience building production software systems. You should have a deep technical background in threading, performance tuning, and concurrency management. We look for individuals with a strong command of Java and Spring, along with a solid understanding of resiliency and encryption. You must be comfortable working with Docker, Kubernetes, and big data tools like BigQuery or Redshift. We value engineers who are excited about shipping customer-centric software and who communicate effectively in English. What we offer

We believe in rewarding our team members with competitive compensation packages that reflect their performance and potential. For this role, the annual salary range is $170,000 to $230,000.
