We are Vibrent Health, a company based in Fairfax, Virginia, dedicated to advancing digital health technology and research tools. We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our team in a full-time, remote capacity. In this role, you will help us build and refine the platforms that support US clinical trials and medical research, reaching a user base of up to 2 million people.
Responsibilities
- Participate in every stage of the software development lifecycle, from initial design and coding to thorough peer reviews.
- Collaborate closely with product owners and Scrum Masters to keep our development backlog organized and well-groomed.
- Solve complex technical challenges and proactively initiate design improvements or code refactoring to maintain high standards.
Requirements
To be successful in this position, you should have a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electronic Engineering, or a related field, along with at least 5 years of experience supporting mobile patient engagement platforms. You should also possess the following qualifications:
- Five years of experience building applications using design patterns like MVVM, MVC, or Viper.
- Extensive programming experience with Swift, Objective-C, SQLite, Java, and JSON.
- Proven ability to create testable features using tools such as Mockito, JUnit, or similar frameworks.
- Experience distributing mobile applications through the iOS App Store or Google Play Store.
- A strong background in developing and deploying production-level Flutter, iOS, and Android applications that meet HIPAA and SOCII compliance standards.
- Familiarity with Docker or Kubernetes, REST and OAUTH standards, and mobile automation frameworks like Appium.
