ChargeLab is the Android of the EV charging industry. We partner with major hardware manufacturers like Siemens, ABB, and Eaton to power their charging stations with our advanced management software. With US $30 million in funding and a team of over 65 employees, we are scaling rapidly to help building owners, utilities, and fleets manage massive networks of chargers across North America. We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join one of our cross-functional pods and help us drive high-quality, rapid software releases.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical leadership within your pod and across the broader engineering organization.
- Mentor other engineers to help them grow their skills and improve team output.
- Collaborate closely with product, design, and architecture teams to build high-impact features.
- Maintain and improve our distributed microservice architecture using Java on the backend and React on the frontend.
- Focus on the quality, speed, and efficiency of code releases for your team.
- Own features from start to finish as a fullstack developer.
Must-haves
- Proven experience as a Senior Software Engineer with a history of successfully delivering products.
- A degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Math, or Physics.
- Strong background in fullstack development with the ability to own features end-to-end.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
- A genuine passion for mentoring peers and fostering team collaboration.
Nice-to-haves
- Professional experience working with Java and AWS.
- Prior experience working within the B2B SaaS space.
