About the Role
We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join our team in a full-time capacity. In this role, you will lead the development, maintenance, and optimization of our full-stack applications. You will work closely with our architecture, automation, and DevOps teams to design robust infrastructure and ensure seamless deployment of our software to production environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop mission-critical software applications and services while working within an agile team environment.
- Serve as a project leader, facilitating cross-functional collaboration with product managers, data scientists, and business stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions.
- Oversee the planning and execution of continuous maintenance, support, and technical enhancements for our existing platforms.
Requirements
To be successful in this position, you should possess the following qualifications:
- At least 5 years of professional experience as a software engineer.
- An Associate degree or equivalent is required, though a Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
- A strong command of Java and professional experience working with SQL and relational databases.
- Recent experience within the last three years using front-end technologies, specifically JavaScript, TypeScript, and AngularJS.
- Practical experience with AWS environments, building REST APIs, and utilizing automated testing frameworks.
- A solid understanding of system design, object-oriented programming, data structures, algorithms, and mobile application architecture.
Location
This is a hybrid position based at our headquarters in Quincy, MA. You will be expected to work onsite 2 days per week, and we are not considering remote candidates for this role.
