Evolv AI is seeking an experienced candidate to join our high-growth Artificial Intelligence (AI) startup headquartered in San Francisco. Collaborating with our world-class product development teams and researchers (AI and Cognitive Science), you will help translate cutting edge research into real world impact in one of the most financially important areas in technology, the digital experience.

Your Responsibilities
- Work with a cutting edge, globally distributed, serverless architecture handling data at massive scale
- Use vast amounts of data to power advanced AI algorithms
- Collaborate with a small, cross-functional team to prioritize and clarify product improvements
- Identify and implement minimal, well-crafted solutions
- Improve stability and maintainability of the codebases you work in
- Apply engineering best practices and design patterns
What You'll Need
- An ambitious attitude and desire to build great things at a start-up pace

- A track record of having a big impact on the codebase
- A practical approach to building - cutting what isn't critical, but not compromising code quality
- BS in CS / closely related field, or professional industry experience in a related role (5+ years preferred)
- Strong analytical skills
- Data pipeline experience at scale (Flink, Spark or similar)
- Experience with high availability cloud applications and services on AWS or similar (Python, JavaScript / TypeScript, Java, or Go preferred)
- Knowledge of building RAG pipelines
- Ability to communicate effectively with people of varying technical levels
- A drive for concise, readable code
- Statistics or UX backgrounds are a plus
