About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join us in a full-time capacity. In this role, you will serve as a key individual contributor focused on developing our cloud-based dashboard and the supporting infrastructure that powers it. You will have the opportunity to shape our technical direction while working on a product that processes massive amounts of time-series data, with potential for expanding into leadership responsibilities as we grow.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and architect scalable software solutions by translating complex business and customer needs into robust technical requirements.
• Own projects from start to finish, ensuring high-quality code delivery, thorough testing, and proactive communication with the team.
• Collaborate across the full stack, from front-end interface development to back-end database configuration, while maintaining clear documentation and providing thoughtful code reviews.

Requirements

We are looking for a seasoned professional who is comfortable working in a fast-paced, remote environment. Your qualifications should include:

• At least 7 years of professional experience in software development with a proven history of deploying high-quality production code.
• A degree in computer science or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Proficiency across the full stack, with specific experience using Node, Vue, PostgreSQL, Rabbit, Redis, Heroku, Google Cloud, Twilio, and Sendgrid.
• Strong familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and test-driven development methodologies.
• An entrepreneurial spirit and the ability to work effectively in a cross-cultural, distributed team across different time zones.

Location

This position is 100% remote. While we are a distributed team, you will be collaborating closely with colleagues primarily based in North American time zones.
