The opportunity

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our team and take ownership of our data pipeline infrastructure. In this role, you will be a key architect, helping us design, optimize, and automate the systems that power our intelligence platform. You will have a seat at the table from your first day, influencing our technical roadmap and strategy while mentoring fellow engineers. A day in the life

• You will act as a technical leader, designing and maintaining complex data solutions while utilizing tools like Airflow, dbt, and Google Cloud to ensure high performance and automation.
• You will manage a large portfolio of dbt models and advocate for test-driven development, working closely with our QA teams to refine our continuous integration and delivery processes.
• You will collaborate with senior management and cross-functional teams to architect scalable patterns, troubleshoot performance bottlenecks, and mentor other engineers to foster a culture of technical excellence.

Who you are

You are a seasoned engineer with at least 7 years of experience in software development, specifically focusing on Python, SQL, and robust data pipelines. You possess a deep understanding of modern data stacks and are comfortable working in a remote environment. Your background includes:

• Expertise in building ETL/ELT pipelines with Airflow or similar workflow management tools.
• Strong proficiency with Google Cloud Platform, Kubernetes, and managing infrastructure as code.
• Experience working with databases like PostgreSQL and BigQuery, as well as business intelligence tools like Looker.
• A collaborative mindset with the ability to lead projects, mentor others, and communicate effectively in English.
• A passion for clean code, DRY patterns, and staying current with industry trends to drive innovation.
