What is this role?
We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join our team on a full-time, hybrid basis in Vancouver. This is a senior-level position for someone who wants to make a substantial impact on the future of cloud-native security. You will work within a highly engineering-focused culture that prioritizes innovation and agility as we continue to build out our commercial offerings.
What will you do?
- Participate as an active member of an engineering team, contributing to tasks throughout our regular release sprints.
- Develop new functionality and enhance existing features primarily using Golang.
- Take full ownership of the development lifecycle for your features, which includes everything from initial design and coding to testing and final production release.
What makes you a great fit?
We are looking for someone with at least 8 years of product-oriented software engineering experience. You should have a strong background in distributed systems and a solid grasp of backend development. While Golang is our preferred language, we also value experience with Java, NodeJS, and Python. You will be a great fit if you have:
- A drive to succeed in a collaborative, agile environment.
- A degree in Computer Science or a related field, though equivalent professional experience is also welcome.
- Technical familiarity with Kubernetes, Docker, and networking concepts.
- Experience in developing or securing cloud-scale infrastructure.
- Fluency in English.
