About the Role
We are hiring a Senior Software Engineer for a Full Time position. This is a remote role that focuses on high-level architecture, security, and the development of robust infrastructure within the blockchain ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and enhance the business-critical services we have built using Rust.
- Conduct research and develop prototypes for emerging blockchain technologies.
- Provide expert technical feedback and guidance on architectural decisions across our various projects.
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you should possess a strong background in software engineering and a commitment to high-quality code. We are looking for candidates who demonstrate the following:
- Senior-level expertise in Rust programming.
- A solid foundation in software design, architecture, and engineering principles.
- Experience working with event-sourced and message-based architectures.
- A proven history of developing smart contracts.
- Direct experience working within the Layer 1 blockchain industry.
- An extreme ownership mindset, meaning you take full responsibility for your projects and tasks.
- A professional work ethic and a genuine interest in refining existing codebases.
It is considered a plus if you have experience with the NEAR ecosystem, such as the nearcore codebase, or if you have a background in auditing security-sensitive code and working with the EVM or Web3 environments.
