The role
We are hiring a Senior Software Engineer to join our product engineering team on a full-time, on-site basis in Bangalore. You will work at the senior level, shaping the architecture and delivery of mission-critical healthcare analytics platforms that serve clients across the globe.
Core responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs using C# and .NET Core while ensuring code quality through reviews and automated testing.
- Collaborate within Agile ceremonies to deliver features that meet both business goals and technical standards, mentoring junior engineers along the way.
- Continuously explore new approaches to improve performance, reliability, and developer experience across our cloud-native microservices architecture.
Skills and experience
You bring at least five years of hands-on experience building production software in a fast-paced Agile environment. Strong proficiency in C#, .NET, and .NET Core (version 5 and above) is essential, along with solid computer-science fundamentals including object-oriented design, SOLID principles, and common design patterns. You have worked with relational databases such as MS SQL Server, MySQL, or PostgreSQL and have deployed containerized workloads with Docker on public-cloud platforms, preferably AWS. Experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs, writing unit, integration, and performance tests, and understanding serverless and microservices patterns rounds out your technical background. Familiarity with React and JavaScript for front-end work, GraphQL, monitoring tools such as DataDog, or NoSQL stores like MongoDB is considered a plus. All work is conducted in English.
