The role
We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join our R&D team on a full-time, on-site basis in the United States. This is a hands-on, senior-level position where you will act as a full-stack contributor, guiding products from initial conception all the way through to production. You will play a pivotal role in shaping our technology stack and developing the next generation of design software for automated assembly.
Core responsibilities
- Develop and maintain microservice applications that bridge cloud infrastructure with robotic systems on the factory floor.
- Integrate our software systems with the Omniverse platform to power our next generation of product offerings.
- Lead the end-to-end implementation of systems, from early-stage prototyping to full-scale production releases, while championing Agile engineering best practices.
Skills and experience
To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:
- A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of professional experience in software engineering.
- Strong programming proficiency in Python, C++, and Go.
- Experience with Service Oriented Architecture and database design.
- Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS.
- Working knowledge of frontend technologies and NVIDIA’s Omniverse platform, particularly Isaac Sim.
