Senior Software Engineer at Vial

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer who is ready to help us reimagine the future of medicine.

What you'll be doing

• You will help define the vision for our technical architecture and tech stack while leading significant projects from the initial concept through to launch.
• You will mentor junior and mid-level engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence and high-quality, maintainable code.
• You will collaborate closely with our product and business teams to deliver innovative solutions that provide real value to patients, clinics, and pharmaceutical companies.

What you'll bring

To succeed in this role, you should have a strong background in full-stack engineering and a passion for solving complex problems. We are looking for the following qualifications:

• At least 5 years of experience in full-stack engineering, including internships or side projects.
• Proficiency with JavaScript and modern frameworks such as React and Express.
• Experience with general-purpose programming languages like TypeScript, Python, or C#.
• A solid understanding of modern web technologies, testing frameworks, and databases.
• The ability to work during regular US working hours on either the East or West Coast.
• An entrepreneurial mindset and a history of shipping high-quality products at scale.
• Fluency in English.
• While not required, previous experience in biotechnology, clinical trials, or the healthcare industry is a significant plus.
