The opportunity

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to help us build the next iteration of our platform. As a key member of our small but expanding engineering team, you will play a major role in shaping our technical direction and culture. This is largely a greenfield project, giving you the chance to design systems that serve a diverse group of users, including students, parents, clinicians, and school staff. You will have the autonomy to solve complex problems while contributing to a product that makes therapy more accessible and effective for kids across the country.

A day in the life

• You will take full ownership of product features from the initial scoping and architectural design phases through to testing and final deployment.
• You will collaborate closely with product managers and fellow engineers to brainstorm and implement creative solutions to real-world user challenges.
• You will actively design and expand our core technology stack, focusing on our Ruby on Rails backend and our React-based web frontend.

Who you are

You are a seasoned developer with at least 4 years of experience in building complex, end-to-end web applications. You thrive as a generalist who is comfortable navigating both the frontend and backend of a stack. You communicate clearly, lead with empathy, and bring a low-ego approach to collaborative problem-solving. We value your ability to work autonomously and drive projects forward with purpose. While not required, we would love to see experience with GraphQL, NextJS, DevOps, or the Healthtech space. Proficiency in English is essential for this role.
