What you bring
We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our team on a full-time basis. This role is entirely remote, allowing you to work from anywhere while collaborating with our distributed group of experts. You will be deeply involved in our engineering, blockchain, and Web3 initiatives, focusing on Rust development and high-level system architecture. Your core responsibilities will include:
- Maintaining and enhancing our business-critical services written in Rust.
- Researching and prototyping new applications for cutting-edge blockchain technologies.
- Providing expert feedback and guidance on technical architecture across our various projects.
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you should possess deep expertise in Rust and a strong foundation in software design and architecture. We value candidates who have a proven history of smart contract development and prior experience working within the Layer 1 blockchain industry. You should be familiar with message-based and event-sourced architectures. We look for individuals who demonstrate an extreme ownership mentality, taking full responsibility for their projects with a high degree of professionalism. Proficiency in English is required, and while not mandatory, experience with the NEAR ecosystem, security-sensitive code, and the EVM or Web3 space will certainly set you apart.
