Through our AI advisor, Sage, we help millions of students navigate their academic journeys while simultaneously transforming recruitment strategies for colleges and universities through advanced AI agents and proprietary data.

Responsibilities

Develop and enhance our products by applying the latest research in machine learning, LLMs, and AI agents.
Take full ownership of projects from initial concept through to production, ensuring rapid delivery and high business value.
Collaborate cross-functionally with product, design, security, and customer success teams to solve complex user challenges.
Write clean, performant, and maintainable code using Ruby and PureScript to extend our platform.
Prioritize practical problem-solving to deliver reliable solutions that directly address our customers' needs.

Must-haves

At least 6 years of software engineering experience.
Strong proficiency with relational databases, modern IaaS platforms, and MVC frameworks like Ruby on Rails.
Experience with or a strong interest in learning typed-functional programming languages like PureScript.
A pragmatic mindset that focuses on solving problems rather than just writing code.
A humble, collaborative attitude with a deep commitment to the end-user experience.
Fluency in English.
Preference for candidates residing in the United States or Canada.
