What is this role?

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our team on a full-time, remote basis. This is a senior-level position where you will play a critical role in maintaining and evolving the systems that protect the digital lives of over 5 million active users. You will work within an agile framework, taking full ownership of features and contributing to the long-term technical roadmap of our platform.

What will you do?

• Design, develop, and maintain high-quality software solutions within your team's domain while participating in code reviews and maintaining technical documentation.
• Collaborate closely with product owners, designers, and fellow engineers to analyze requirements and ensure our features are scalable, fault-tolerant, and highly available.
• Mentor and coach medior engineers, influence our technical standards, and participate in community-driven decision-making to help shape the future of our product.

What makes you a great fit?

To succeed in this role, you should have a strong background in building web applications using PHP. You are comfortable working with OOP best practices, REST APIs, and modern web infrastructure. We value engineers who prioritize security, specifically regarding common vulnerabilities like XSS and SQL injection. You should also have a working knowledge of Docker and be able to communicate effectively in English. Beyond your technical skills, you are a problem solver who can balance the big picture with the fine details, and you are eager to share your knowledge with the wider team.
