Our platform, currently transitioning from Corvee to Instead, helps business owners master their finances, save time, and reach financial independence. We are looking for someone who is ready to go all in on a high-growth fintech journey and help us simplify the complex world of tax planning.
Role at a glance
We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join our team on a full-time basis. This is a hybrid role that offers the flexibility to work from anywhere, though we would love to see you in our San Francisco office if you are local. You will be instrumental in shaping our product roadmap and helping us scale our development efforts.
Your impact
- Take the lead on rapid prototyping and building high-impact features for both our internal and external applications.
- Solve complex technical challenges by working across our stack, from crafting pixel-perfect interfaces with Tailwind and Vue.js to managing intricate data architectures.
- Collaborate closely with our talented team of developers and tax engineers to modernize the tax industry through innovative software solutions.
What you'll need
To be successful in this role, you should be comfortable working in an English-speaking environment and possess the following qualifications:
- Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, and at least two years of professional JavaScript development experience.
- Proven track record of building single-page applications using Vue.js.
- Experience working with Git and interacting with REST APIs.
- A sharp eye for detail and a passion for creating polished, high-quality graphical user interfaces.
- A high-energy approach to problem-solving and a natural curiosity that drives you to dig deep into complex technical issues.
- Familiarity with TypeScript, Docker, and PostgreSQL is highly valued.
