Role at a glance
We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our team as a contractor. This is a remote position, though please note that you must reside in Poland to be eligible for this role. You will be an essential part of our engineering group, helping us build and refine the technology that powers our healthcare SaaS solution.
Your impact
- Design and implement innovative new features that directly improve how our users interact with the healthcare system.
- Collaborate closely with product and engineering teams to enhance our microservices architecture and ensure our platform remains scalable.
- Take a lead role in architectural discussions, mentoring teammates and establishing best practices for clean, testable code.
What you'll need
We are looking for someone with a deep curiosity and a drive to build high-quality software. You should be comfortable working in a collaborative, distributed environment and communicating effectively with both technical and non-technical team members.
- At least 4 years of experience building scalable applications using Python.
- Strong proficiency with backend frameworks such as FastAPI, aiohttp, Flask, or SQLAlchemy.
- Solid experience working within the AWS ecosystem and managing relational databases.
- A proven track record of working with CI/CD pipelines and microservices.
- Familiarity with Kubernetes is considered a significant plus.
- Fluency in English to facilitate seamless team collaboration.
Perks and compensation
The base compensation for this position ranges from $60,000 to $99,600 annually. In addition to competitive pay, you will enjoy the flexibility of remote work.
