The role

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our team on a full-time basis. This is a senior-level position that offers a hybrid work arrangement, allowing for a mix of remote and in-person collaboration. You will play a vital role in our cross-functional Agile product team, where you will help drive technical strategy and contribute to the development of our robust financial systems.

Core responsibilities

• Design and implement high-quality software solutions by analyzing system workflows, documenting requirements, and adhering to the full software development lifecycle.
• Lead collaborative design sessions and take ownership of services and applications at scale to ensure our tools effectively meet complex business needs.
• Mentor fellow engineers, support their professional growth through coaching, and actively participate in the recruitment and interviewing process to help expand our team.

Skills and experience

To be successful in this role, you should possess a strong background in software engineering and a passion for building scalable systems. We require the following qualifications:

• At least 5 years of experience developing robust software solutions, supported by a Bachelor’s degree in a technical field or equivalent professional experience.
• Proficiency in server-side development using PHP and Laravel, alongside web-based frontend development with Angular or React.
• Hands-on experience with modern infrastructure tools including Docker and Kubernetes, as well as relational databases like MySQL.
• A solid understanding of Git for version control, REST-based web services, and the ability to write comprehensive unit, integration, and performance tests.
• Proven experience working within an Agile environment and a demonstrated ability to mentor other developers while maintaining high coding standards.

Compensation and benefits

The salary range for this position is $135,000 to $166,000, depending on your level of experience. Our comprehensive benefits package is designed to support your well-being and includes:
