Senior Software Engineer at LIBLAB

At LibLab, we are building essential internet infrastructure designed by developers, for developers. We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our team in northwest Austin to help us tackle complex challenges, such as managing millions of daily API requests and architecting industry-leading open-source SDKs.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain robust software solutions primarily using TypeScript.
• Work alongside cross-functional teams to define and launch new product features.
• Identify and resolve intricate technical issues across a diverse technology stack.
• Connect directly with customers to understand their requirements and provide high-level technical support.
• Mentor fellow engineers and champion best practices to ensure high-quality, maintainable code.
• Contribute to our long-term technical strategy and overall system architecture.
• Keep pace with emerging industry trends and integrate relevant innovations into our platform.

Must-haves

• At least 5 years of professional software development experience, ideally within a startup setting.
• Strong technical proficiency in multiple programming languages, with mandatory expertise in TypeScript and at least one of the following: Python, Java, Go, or C#.
• Solid background in working with developer tools and APIs.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain technical concepts to various stakeholders.
• The ability to thrive in a fast-paced, agile environment, both independently and as part of a team.
• Current location in Austin, Texas, with the ability to work from our office twice a week.
• Fluency in English.
