What is this role?
We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join our team on a full-time basis. This is a hybrid position that offers the flexibility to work from anywhere. As a senior member of our engineering team, you will have the chance to make a significant impact from your first day while working in a nimble, fast-paced environment without the burden of heavy bureaucracy.
What will you do?
- Build comprehensive products from the ground up, ranging from data infrastructure and backend APIs to user-facing interfaces.
- Take ownership of technical decisions and help define our engineering standards, best practices, and overall product strategy.
- Deepen your expertise in the cryptocurrency industry by actively participating in research, governance, and educational initiatives.
What makes you a great fit?
You are an analytical thinker who balances a love for detail with the ability to take decisive action. We value clear communication and a collaborative spirit, as you will be working closely with a multi-disciplinary team. You should have at least 3 years of software development experience and be comfortable working across the stack. While you do not need to be a crypto expert today, we are looking for someone with a genuine curiosity and enthusiasm for the field.
Our technical environment relies on a variety of tools, and you should be comfortable with or eager to learn the following:
- Frontend and Backend: React and Node.
- Data and Infrastructure: Scala, Spark, Kinesis, and Python for analytical scripts.
- Databases: Firebase, MongoDB, and Postgres.
- Cloud Services: AWS.
