What you bring

We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join our team in a full-time, remote capacity. In this role, you will provide technical leadership for a backend team focused on building and supporting the APIs that power our core products. You will be expected to write clean, maintainable code and ensure our systems remain performant and secure. Your core responsibilities will include:

• Designing and developing high-quality, reliable software solutions while maintaining our standards for test automation and CI/CD pipelines.
• Leading the architecture of complex systems and proactively addressing technical debt to keep our codebase healthy.
• Collaborating closely with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to define requirements and deliver impactful features.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should have over seven years of relevant experience and a deep understanding of software engineering fundamentals. You must be proficient in Ruby on Rails and Python, with a strong background in building RESTful APIs and working with relational databases. We look for candidates who are comfortable working in AWS environments and utilizing Docker for container orchestration. Beyond your technical skills, we value your ability to manage complexity, communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical team members, and foster an inclusive environment. A commitment to agile methodologies and a collaborative spirit are essential for this position.

What we offer
