Groma is transforming the real estate industry by merging technology with property management to create a new asset class. We use AI and blockchain to make real estate ownership accessible to everyone, from institutional investors to the residents living in our buildings, while bringing efficiency to the multifamily housing sector. We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our team in Boston, Massachusetts, for this full-time, on-site role.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain digital infrastructure that powers our growing real estate portfolio, including smart home and AI-driven maintenance tools.
- Build products that allow diverse investors to initiate and manage their participation in our real estate funds.
- Create blockchain-based infrastructure to represent property assets and investor holdings, increasing transparency and accessibility.
- Collaborate directly with business stakeholders to identify problems and design pragmatic, effective technical solutions.
- Work across our full technology stack, including backend, frontend, and blockchain components.
Must-haves
- Proficiency in Python, JavaScript, and Solidity.
- Experience building web applications using Django and React.
- A strong product mindset with the ability to translate business needs into technical requirements.
- An interest in working within an early-stage startup environment where you are comfortable navigating ambiguity.
- The ability to work on-site at our headquarters in downtown Boston.
- Fluency in English.
