The role

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our team on a full-time basis. This is a high-impact, senior-level position that offers significant autonomy. Whether you choose to work from our office in Durham, North Carolina, or remotely from anywhere in the United States, you will play a vital role in our growth as we expand our device network and shopper experiences.

Core responsibilities

• Build and ship innovative products and features in close collaboration with our design and product teams.
• Develop and maintain functionality across our entire ecosystem, including device-level software, network infrastructure, and cloud-based applications.
• Help shape our engineering culture and internal processes as an early member of the team, with direct access to stakeholders to ensure your work delivers real-world value.

Skills and experience

We value technical depth and a strong sense of product ownership. While we prioritize candidates with experience in our specific stack, we are most interested in engineers who are curious, quick to learn, and capable of working independently.

• Proficiency in at least one statically typed language.
• Experience with Android Native development using Java or Kotlin.
• Familiarity with cloud environments, specifically Google Cloud, Firebase, and BigQuery.
• Front-end development skills including HTML, CSS, TypeScript, and Angular.
• A background in areas such as remote device management, real-time data systems, or media distribution is highly valued.
