The role
We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our team on a full-time basis. This is a remote position open to candidates residing in California, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Jersey, Oregon, Rhode Island, Texas, or Washington State. In this role, you will be a key contributor to the entire lifecycle of our mobile games, helping us transition projects from initial prototypes into polished, production-ready titles.
Core responsibilities
- Create rapid prototypes to test gameplay concepts and validate new ideas before moving into full production.
- Partner with cross-functional team members, including artists, designers, and data analysts, to ensure our games meet high quality standards.
- Build and maintain core gameplay systems, tools, and pipelines while optimizing performance for a variety of mobile devices.
Skills and experience
To be successful in this role, you should have a strong background in software engineering and a passion for the casual mobile gaming space. We require the following qualifications:
- At least 7 years of professional engineering experience within the gaming industry.
- Proven expertise in Unity and mobile game development.
- A deep understanding of game architecture, design patterns, and agile development practices.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience navigating difficult technical challenges while working in a collaborative, cross-functional environment.
Compensation and benefits
