Senior Software Engineer at CoPilot

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our team in the United States. As a core member of our engineering and product group, you will report directly to our CTO and play a pivotal role in shaping our technical roadmap and company culture.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement robust full-stack features for our flagship web platform.
• Take ownership of technical projects, from managing our component architecture to overseeing infrastructure and documentation.
• Balance the need for rapid product delivery with long-term technical strategy, including managing tech debt and improving CI/CD processes.
• Mentor junior engineers and actively participate in recruiting efforts to help scale our team.
• Collaborate closely with product and design leads to define features and improve our internal engineering processes.
• Contribute to the broader business, including opportunities to get involved in marketing, operations, and growth initiatives.

Must-haves

• At least 4 years of professional experience building complex web applications.
• A proven track record of success as a lead developer.
• Proficiency with our core technology stack, including React, TypeScript, and Golang.
• Experience working with AWS services such as DynamoDB, Lambda, Cognito, and Cloudwatch.
• A strong desire to work in an on-site, highly collaborative environment.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage in constructive, respectful technical debates.
• Fluency in English.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with our specific library ecosystem, including Tailwind, MUI, Redux, and AmplifyJS.
• Familiarity with infrastructure tools like Cloudformation and SQS.
• Previous experience in a fast-paced startup environment.
