As a fully remote team since 2019, we prioritize empathy and excellence, and we are currently seeking a Senior Software Engineer to help us scale our systems to meet the demands of our rapid growth.
Key outcomes
- Develop and maintain our data sharing platform across both frontend and backend systems to serve our enterprise and institutional clients.
- Engineer robust solutions to scale our infrastructure, ensuring we can support a significant increase in platform usage.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design clean, efficient interfaces throughout our codebase.
- Engage in agile processes, contributing technical insights and helping to prioritize development roadmaps.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of professional software engineering experience with Python, including practical experience with Django.
- Comprehensive technical skills covering the full stack, ranging from frontend development to database management.
- A proven track record of taking initiative to improve product architecture, software quality, or team workflows.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with product management and other internal departments.
- Fluency in English.
Preferred qualifications
- Previous experience contributing to large-scale software projects within a collaborative team environment.
- Proficiency with modern frontend frameworks, such as React.
- Prior exposure to the renewable energy sector.
Compensation
The annual base salary for this position ranges from $150,000 to $170,000. In addition to salary, we provide a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
