Senior Software Engineer at ConvertKit

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our team on a full-time, remote basis. At ConvertKit, we operate as a fully independent and remote company dedicated to helping creators earn a living through our marketing platform. We empower podcasters, authors, YouTubers, and coaches to grow their audiences and monetize their work. You will join a specialized group focused on commerce compliance, fraud prevention, and data-driven analytics to help our users succeed.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of complex technical challenges across the full stack while collaborating closely with your teammates.
• Play an active role in shaping the technical direction and standards of our codebase.
• Communicate proactively with product stakeholders and work cross-functionally to deliver high-quality solutions.

Requirements

• Proven track record of delivering multiple software products within a team environment.
• Extensive experience building and scaling production applications using Ruby on Rails.
• Proficiency in JavaScript and React, or comparable modern frameworks.
• A commitment to writing code that is performant, accessible, and maintainable.
• The ability to work autonomously in a remote setting while maintaining strong communication in public channels.
• Availability to collaborate effectively within US time zones and a willingness to attend bi-annual in-person retreats.

What we offer

We provide a standardized salary structure regardless of your location. Depending on your experience and our interview process, this role is compensated at either $147,000 or $174,000. We also offer a comprehensive suite of benefits to support your well-being and professional growth:
