The role

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our team on a full-time, remote basis. This is a senior-level position for an experienced player-coach who is ready to guide our technical direction and help us build a high-performing engineering culture. You will be instrumental in shaping our internal movement, mentoring team members, and ensuring we consistently deliver high-quality solutions to our users.

Core responsibilities

• Design and maintain robust full-stack systems, ranging from cloud infrastructure to distributed back-end services and front-end web applications.
• Champion a DevOps mindset by implementing effective Continuous Delivery practices and managing immutable infrastructure.
• Mentor and counsel engineering managers and team members to foster a collaborative environment focused on technical excellence and professional development.

Skills and experience

To succeed in this role, you should have a strong foundation in computer science and a track record of building scalable, impactful products. We value individuals who are comfortable with ambiguity and who approach their work with a data-driven mindset.

• Extensive experience working with Docker, Kubernetes, and container management tools like Flux and Rancher.
• Proficiency in managing cloud environments across AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Familiarity with modern work management frameworks such as Lean Startup, Design Thinking, Kanban, or Scrum.
• A deep sense of customer empathy and a commitment to building products that meet real user needs.
• Strong communication skills in English, with the ability to share technical opinions while remaining open to being challenged.
• Bonus points if you have a history of contributing to open source projects or a strong preference for pair programming.
