What is this role?

We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join our team on a full-time, remote basis. This is a senior-level position where you will play a pivotal role in designing and maintaining the robust systems that power our security platform. You will be a key contributor to our engineering culture, helping us scale our infrastructure while ensuring our tools remain both powerful and user-friendly.

What will you do?

• Lead the development, testing, and deployment of our event detection platform using Go.
• Collaborate closely with our threat research and detections engineering teams to build a highly accurate, performant event detection engine.
• Write resilient code, establish high development standards, and mentor other engineers to help them grow their technical expertise.

• Advanced or expert-level proficiency in Go and a passion for writing clean, performant, and well-tested code.
• Experience building applications that integrate with relational databases, in-memory datastores, and cloud-native storage solutions.
• Strong background in working with event streaming libraries and managing high-volume data.
• Experience shipping software within a containerized, continuous delivery environment.
• A track record of leading pair programming sessions and providing constructive, iterative feedback through code reviews.
• Comfort working in a distributed team across different time zones and a willingness to adapt to shifting project requirements.
• Demonstrable experience building and deploying software in a cloud environment.
• Fluency in English to facilitate clear communication across our global team.
