What you bring

As a Senior Software Engineer, you will play a vital role in maintaining and improving our high-performance web platform. This is a full-time, hybrid position based in South Africa. You will be responsible for the following:

• Developing and maintaining scalable, high-quality code using Next.js, React, and Node.js.
• Mentoring peers and fostering a culture of continuous improvement, automation, and root-cause resolution.
• Designing and managing distributed, high-transactional systems with a strong focus on observability and monitoring.

Requirements

We are looking for a candidate with 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in web development and engineering. While a BSc in Computer Science is encouraged, we value strong practical experience just as much. You should be a passionate problem solver who communicates effectively and thrives in a collaborative environment. We value leaders who take initiative, make data-driven decisions, and possess a deep understanding of architectural patterns. Proficiency in English is required to ensure seamless communication within our team.
