Relay Payments is transforming the logistics and trucking sectors by replacing outdated cash and check transactions with a modern, digital payment network. Since our founding in 2019, we have grown into an Atlanta-based fintech team of over 150 people, serving more than 500,000 drivers and 100,000 carriers. We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer for a full-time, hybrid role to help us build the next generation of payment infrastructure. You will join a company that values innovation and collaboration, working alongside industry leaders to bring efficiency to the essential systems that keep America moving.

Responsibilities

Design and lead the implementation of high-quality systems, contributing to large-scale services and complex infrastructure across the organization.
Proactively address technical debt and drive the company’s technical trajectory by shipping robust, scalable solutions.
Collaborate across teams to deliver end-to-end products, with a primary focus on Golang development.

Requirements

At least 7 years of experience in full-stack development, with a strong preference for candidates who have worked in fintech or payment processing.
Deep technical proficiency in Golang, PostgreSQL, service-oriented architectures, Dependency Injection, and SOLID design principles.
Strong systems-thinking capabilities, including the ability to articulate technical tradeoffs and justify architectural decisions.
Excellent communication skills to help educate team members on evolving processes and frameworks.
A solid understanding of software testing strategies and a commitment to high-quality code.
