About the Role
We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our team on a full-time basis. In this position, you will be instrumental in delivering the products and applications that thousands of people rely on for their health insurance needs. You will work in a collaborative, remote environment where your contributions will directly shape our platform and influence the lives of our users.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and build end-to-end experiences for our platform, with a primary focus on usability, performance, and scalability.
- Architect efficient systems that meet growing customer demand while continuously improving the stability and efficiency of our infrastructure.
- Collaborate across teams, including design, operations, and engineering, to define requirements and mentor junior team members as we scale.
Requirements
We are looking for a candidate who values engineering excellence and brings a strong technical background to our team. Your qualifications should include:
- At least 5 years of experience building impactful products at scale.
- Proficiency in both front-end and back-end development, with a willingness to do whatever it takes to solve problems for our users.
- A deep understanding of computer science fundamentals, including algorithms, data structures, distributed systems, and object-oriented programming.
- A commitment to high-quality code, thorough testing, clear documentation, and production observability.
- Strong communication skills and a high degree of empathy for both internal team members and external customers.
- The ability to work effectively in a remote setting.
Location
This role is remote and open to candidates located anywhere within the United States.
Compensation and Benefits
