What is this role?

We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join our team on a full-time basis. This is a remote position open to candidates located anywhere. As a senior member of our engineering group, you will work at the intersection of software and hardware, specifically focusing on the Level Hub and the platform that powers our Level M smart building automation solution. We are looking for a strategic thinker who is ready to contribute both code and creative product ideas from day one.

What will you do?

• Write high-quality code primarily using Golang, Python, and C++.
• Develop reliable, observable, and scalable solutions for communicating with edge devices, including support for Zigbee and Z-Wave technologies.
• Manage the entire development lifecycle, which includes designing, prototyping, testing, releasing, and deploying new features.

Your qualifications should include:

• Familiarity with embedded systems or IoT protocols like Zigbee, Z-Wave, Thread, and Matter is a plus.
• Professional fluency in English.
