Role at a glance
We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join our team on a full-time basis. This is a hybrid role based in the United States, where you will play a key part in developing our driver-facing applications. You do not need prior experience in the energy sector to be a great fit for this team.
Your impact
- Lead the full-stack development of new features, taking them from initial concept all the way through to deployment to expand our product offerings.
- Build intuitive, frictionless user flows that streamline onboarding and keep our users engaged with the platform.
- Mentor fellow engineers and foster a high-performance culture that prioritizes both technical excellence and empathy.
What you'll need
We are looking for someone who is mission-driven and comfortable navigating ambiguity. You should have a proven track record of building high-quality products and a strong product-first mindset. Proficiency in English is required, along with the following technical expertise:
- Expertise in TypeScript, CSS, and semantic HTML.
- Hands-on experience with React and Next.js.
- Strong background in testing, including component, unit, and end-to-end testing.
- Experience with GraphQL.
- Backend competency including relational database design and containerization tools like Docker or Kubernetes.
Perks and compensation
The base salary range for this position is $145,000 to $180,000 USD. In addition to your base pay, you will receive the following:
