The opportunity

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to help us evolve our most successful products. As we integrate AI into our platform, your work will directly impact consumers who are navigating the aftermath of an accident. You will be a key player in our full-stack development efforts, building intuitive software that helps individuals communicate more effectively with their legal and medical teams. This is a hybrid role based in our Flatiron office in NYC, where we prioritize the power of in-person collaboration while maintaining the flexibility to work from home when needed.

A day in the life

• You will write and maintain robust code across our entire stack to deliver meaningful new functionality to our users.
• You will design and architect high-quality software solutions that scale as our product suite grows.
• You will foster a healthy engineering culture by providing constructive code reviews and participating in team rituals like planning sessions and retrospectives.

Who you are

You are a seasoned engineer with at least seven years of experience, and you possess a product-focused mindset that keeps the end-user in mind. You are comfortable working across the full stack, with deep proficiency in Python and Django for the backend and React for the frontend. You have experience working with relational databases like PostgreSQL, and you are excited about the potential of leveraging LLMs to build innovative features. Because we are a collaborative team, you bring high emotional intelligence and strong communication skills to the table. While not required, familiarity with AWS and infrastructure-as-code is a significant plus.
