Senior Software Engineer at Beam Impact

We are currently seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join our team on a full-time, remote basis to help build and maintain the core SDKs that power our impactful e-commerce experiences.

Responsibilities

• Design and plan new technical solutions by collaborating with product managers and engineers through RFC and technical specification documents.
• Take full ownership of project execution, from the initial product specification through to final delivery.
• Act as a force multiplier for the team by participating in code reviews, pair programming, and leading training sessions to share your expertise.

Requirements

We are looking for someone with at least 4 years of experience building full-stack production systems for complex web applications. You should have a strong technical foundation, including a bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent practical experience. Key qualifications include:

• Proficiency in JavaScript and modern frameworks like React.
• Strong command of CSS and web architecture principles.
• Expertise in API design and familiarity with cloud infrastructure, observability, and automated testing.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to advocate for technical projects to non-technical stakeholders.
• Current work authorization in the United States or Canada.
