Senior Software Engineer at Zocdoc

As we enter our 17th year, we are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our team in a hybrid capacity. You will work directly with our co-founder and a group of highly skilled engineers to build our new AI-based voice assistant, a product designed to handle inbound calls for hospitals and clinics. What you'll be doing

• Design and maintain high-quality, scalable applications while gradually integrating new AI capabilities into our core platform.
• Collaborate with our senior engineering team to learn and implement modern GenAI tools and technologies.
• Take ownership of the end-to-end development of consumer-facing products that help us improve the healthcare experience for everyone.

What you'll bring

We are looking for someone who has a strong foundation in software engineering and a genuine curiosity about artificial intelligence. You do not need prior AI experience, as we provide mentorship and on-the-job training. You should have the following qualifications:

• At least 5 years of professional software development experience, with deep proficiency in C#.
• A solid understanding of distributed systems, microservices, data structures, and algorithms.
• Strong software design principles and a proven track record of learning new technologies quickly.
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
• Fluency in English.
