We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our remote team and help us build the next generation of our privacy management platforms. Responsibilities
- Design, implement, test, and document high-quality software solutions based on project specifications.
- Build and maintain RESTful enterprise platforms using Java, Scala, and the Spring Boot framework.
- Develop and manage relational database schemas for Postgres, MySQL, or Oracle.
- Create robust unit tests and participate in thorough code reviews to ensure system reliability.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex application or system errors across development, QA, and production environments.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate customer needs into technical designs.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to fellow engineers to maintain high quality standards.
Must-haves
- A degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, IT, or a related field.
- 5 to 8 years of professional experience in software engineering.
- Strong understanding of software architectures, design patterns, and modern frameworks.
- Hands-on experience with Java middleware, including Hibernate and Spring.
- Proficiency in JavaScript frameworks such as AngularJS and jQuery.
- Experience with Agile methodologies, CI/CD, and security best practices.
- Excellent communication skills in English.
