We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our remote team and help us build the technology that empowers thousands of people to take control of their health coverage.
Responsibilities
- Partner with cross-functional teams to define and execute technical and business requirements for our platform.
- Design and develop end-to-end features with a focus on high performance, usability, and scalability.
- Architect robust systems that can handle increasing customer demand while maintaining a seamless user experience.
- Collaborate directly with designers, operations staff, and customers to deliver solutions that consistently exceed expectations.
- Monitor and optimize our systems to ensure maximum stability, efficiency, and scalability.
- Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior engineers and new team members.
Must-haves
- At least 5 years of professional experience building impactful products at scale.
- Proficiency in both front-end and back-end development.
- Strong grasp of computer science fundamentals, including data structures, OOP, algorithms, and distributed systems.
- A commitment to engineering excellence, demonstrated by high-quality, well-tested code and clear documentation.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to thrive in a remote work environment.
- A growth mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and analytical problem solving.
- Fluency in English.
