About the Role
We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join our team on a full-time basis. In this role, you will have the autonomy to contribute to all aspects of our product development. You will work within small, empowered teams to ship meaningful features that impact real estate professionals worldwide. Our tech stack centers on Ruby on Rails, complemented by JavaScript, React, Tailwind CSS, Stimulus, and Hotwire, as we are strong proponents of leveraging the full power of the Rails framework.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and deploy major features for our product suite while writing clean, maintainable, and efficient code.
- Collaborate closely with designers, stakeholders, and fellow engineers to deliver high-quality solutions that address the specific needs of our clients.
- Actively shape our engineering culture by mentoring junior team members, refining our internal tooling, and establishing best practices for scalability and code health.
Requirements
We are looking for a results-oriented developer who takes pride in their craft and possesses the following qualifications:
- At least 5 years of professional software engineering experience.
- A proven track record of delivering impactful projects from initial design through to production using Ruby on Rails.
- A strong commitment to code health, testability, and long-term maintainability.
- Excellent communication skills and a highly collaborative, low-ego approach to teamwork.
- Strong analytical and debugging capabilities.
Location
This position is fully remote, allowing you the flexibility to work from anywhere you are most productive.
