We are Built Robotics, and our mission is to build the robots that construct the world. We are currently automating repetitive tasks within the 300 billion dollar solar industry to help bridge the workforce gap and accelerate the global transition to clean energy, and we are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our remote team.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, test, and enhance our autonomous construction equipment.
- Contribute to the development of our robot command and control user interface.
- Create high-level planners for new construction tasks.
- Refine and improve the accuracy of our object recognition systems.
- Establish and maintain high code quality standards and engineering best practices.
- Help shape our product roadmap and deploy code on a daily basis.
Must-haves
- A BS, MS, or PhD in computer science or a related technical field.
- At least 5 years of professional software development experience.
- Strong proficiency in Python.
- Proven experience with web or mobile development.
- Experience working with distributed systems.
- Fluency in English.
Nice-to-haves
- Practical experience in mechanical engineering.
