About the Role
We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our team in a Full Time capacity. This role is perfect for an experienced engineer who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment and wants to make a tangible impact on our core platform architecture.
Key Responsibilities
- Resolve complex performance issues within our core services to ensure high-scale operations.
- Develop secure, compliant, and robust platform products that directly address our customers' needs.
- Write high-quality, well-tested code, primarily using Java, while maintaining comprehensive documentation to support our rapid growth.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:
- At least 8 years of experience building production-grade software systems.
- Deep expertise in concurrency management, performance tuning, threading, and system optimizations.
- Strong proficiency in Java (version 11 or higher), including experience with Spring frameworks, JPA ORM, and SQL.
- A proven track record of writing scalable, maintainable code and a commitment to rigorous unit and integration testing.
- Bonus points for experience with cloud platforms like AWS or GCP, containerization tools such as Docker and Kubernetes, and big data technologies like BigQuery or Redshift.
Location
This position is Hybrid and based in San Francisco, with flexible work options available depending on your proximity to our office.
Compensation and Benefits
We offer a competitive compensation package that reflects our commitment to fair and equitable pay. The annual salary range for this position is $170,000 to $230,000.
