Senior Software Engineer at Blockdeliver

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our team on a full-time, remote basis. At BlockDeliver, we are working to build the next generation of internet infrastructure. We are currently developing a unique, decentralized ecosystem for content delivery, which serves as the backbone for how people access media, shop, and consume information online. You will work closely with our CEO to help us transition our product toward a more decentralized model, ensuring that our protocols can effectively support users across the globe.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement our fully decentralized content delivery protocol, which includes developing, testing, and deploying robust backend systems and smart contracts.
• Build high-performance networking software and distributed applications while conducting ongoing research into cryptoeconomics and mechanism design.
• Architect and deploy a token-based incentive model that creates a new marketplace to align the interests of websites, cache servers, and storage providers.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should have extensive experience designing and building distributed infrastructure. We are looking for someone with a strong technical background in the following areas:

• Deep expertise in distributed systems, networking, and backend development.
• Proficiency with Unix environments and file systems.
• Practical knowledge of decentralized building blocks, such as DHTs and p2p networking.
• A strong interest in cryptoeconomics and the ability to translate complex research into scalable, working systems.
• Excellent communication skills in English, as you will be responsible for coaching and mentoring other members of our development team.
