The role

We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join our team on a full-time basis. This is a hybrid role that offers the flexibility to work from anywhere, though we maintain office spaces in San Francisco and New York. As a senior member of our engineering organization, you will have the chance to make a significant impact from your first day, working across our entire stack to build products that define our business strategy.

Core responsibilities

• Design and build end-to-end products, ranging from core data infrastructure and backend APIs to user-facing interfaces, while managing your own workflow and priorities.
• Collaborate with a small, multidisciplinary team to establish engineering standards, define best practices, and make high-level technical decisions.
• Deepen your expertise in the cryptocurrency industry by contributing to research, governance, and educational initiatives that influence the broader crypto ecosystem.

Skills and experience

To be successful in this role, you should have at least 3 years of professional software development experience and a strong desire to grow within the crypto space. We value analytical thinkers who communicate clearly and take ownership of their work. While you do not need to be an expert in every tool we use, you should be comfortable working across the stack and eager to learn new technologies.

Our technical environment includes:

• Frontend and Backend: React and Node.
• Data and Infrastructure: Scala, Spark, Kinesis, AWS, and Heroku.
• Scripting and Databases: Python, Firebase, MongoDB, and Postgres.

Compensation and benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $140,000 to $200,000 per year, supplemented by equity compensation. Our benefits package is designed to support your long-term well-being and professional growth:
