We are a team of extraordinary people, and we are currently looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join us on a contract basis. This role is fully remote for candidates based in the EU, offering you the chance to work with a forward-thinking, ethical, and collaborative group of professionals.
Key outcomes
- Architect, design, and deliver highly available, zero-downtime API products and solutions.
- Collaborate closely with product owners and fellow engineers to solve complex problems and deliver tangible value.
- Write clean, scalable, and maintainable code while adhering to a test-first mindset.
- Manage production operations and system monitoring with a strong awareness of service level agreements.
- Mentor other engineers through active code reviews and pair programming to foster technical growth.
- Proactively identify opportunities to improve team processes and drive engineering best practices across the department.
Requirements
- Strong proficiency in writing readable and idiomatic C#.
- Proven experience in designing and implementing large-scale distributed systems within cloud environments like Azure, AWS, or GCP.
- Solid understanding of system reliability, scalability, and design patterns.
- Hands-on experience working with both SQL and NoSQL databases.
- Deep knowledge of API design and the implementation of sophisticated API products.
- Experience working within Agile methodologies, specifically Scrum.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to business stakeholders.
- Fluency in English.
Preferred qualifications
- Prior experience in the FinTech sector.
- Background in building high-performance API products for both internal and external consumers.
- Specific experience developing cloud systems, particularly within the Azure ecosystem.
