About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join us in a full-time, remote capacity. In this position, you will be a key driver in the development of our products and applications, directly influencing the health insurance experience for thousands of users. You will work within a collaborative environment that values technical excellence, empathy, and a bias for action as we continue to grow.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional partners to define and execute technical and business requirements that shape our platform.
• Design and build comprehensive, end-to-end experiences that prioritize performance, scalability, and usability for our customers.
• Architect robust systems and mentor junior team members to ensure our infrastructure meets growing demand while maintaining high standards of engineering excellence.

Requirements

We are seeking candidates who possess a strong technical foundation and a passion for building impactful products. Your qualifications should include:

• At least 5 years of professional experience in software engineering, with a proven track record of building products at scale.
• Proficiency in both front-end and back-end development, with a willingness to tackle any challenge to support our users.
• Deep understanding of computer science fundamentals, including algorithms, data structures, distributed systems, and object-oriented programming.
• A commitment to writing high-quality, well-documented, and thoroughly tested code with a focus on production observability.
• Excellent communication skills and an empathetic approach to problem-solving, which are essential for success on our remote team.

This is a remote position. Please note that for compliance reasons, we can only consider applicants who are currently located within the United States.

Compensation and Benefits
