At Kiavi, we are transforming the residential real estate investment market by using data and technology to provide capital to investors. As one of the nation's largest private lenders in this space, we help revitalize neighborhoods across the country. We are currently looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our team on a full-time basis. This is a remote position, though we also maintain office spaces in San Francisco and Pittsburgh for those who prefer an in-person environment.
Responsibilities
- Architect and maintain significant portions of our loan origination platform and related web applications.
- Champion high code quality through peer reviews and a strong focus on automated testing, including unit, integration, and end-to-end strategies.
- Collaborate with product, design, and business teams to deliver impactful solutions that directly benefit our customers.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of professional experience in software engineering.
- A strong product-focused mindset with a dedication to building user-friendly, high-quality software.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical ideas clearly to various audiences.
- Proven problem-solving abilities and a self-driven approach to work.
- Experience with modern programming languages such as Ruby, JavaScript, TypeScript, or Kotlin.
- Familiarity with frontend frameworks like React or backend technologies is highly valued.
What we offer
